Description
The Maxwell Wheel, also known as Maxwell's Pendulum or Maxwell's Top, is a classic physics demonstration device used to illustrate the conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy and back again, while also demonstrating the principle of energy conservation. It typically consists of a heavy wheel suspended by cords that can be wound and unwound, causing the wheel to rotate and change its potential and kinetic energy.
